Where should we stay?

Wow - there are so many choices for lodging on Hilton Head and they are all good! It really is a matter of why you are coming, what you are doing while you, are here, how many people are with you and how long are you staying? Hilton Head has hotels, motels, villas or condos and private homes, which all can be reserved all year long. You can choose from an oceanfront penthouse to a tucked away charmer just a ride from the beach. You can stay for a night or a 6 month winter rental (and then you might end up living here too!) 

Here are some easy ways to determine where is best for you and yours. 

•   Have just a long weekend to stay in the middle of summer? Hotel
•   Having a week long family reunion? Large Home
•   Family of 4-6 on a bit of budget? A Near Ocean or Golf Oriented Villa
•   Coming for your Honeymoon? 1 Bedroom Villa on the Ocean 
•   Want to be pampered? Boutique Hotel

Truth be told, Hilton Head Island actually has more Homes and Villas to rent than Hotel rooms. And also realize that the environment is very important to us, no building is taller than seven stories, and that includes the floors for parking. Consequently, an ocean-oriented room may have a tree that has grown up and inhibits the view (but just a bit). What you will love is how you can get around the island in no time. no matter where you stay. One of our best attributes is our bike paths and depending on where you choose to stay, you may never get back in your car until you are on your way home.
